Note: For the 4-year bachelor's path, it's considered equivalent to a master's degree and uses the full 28 marks allocation.
For the 2+2 path, bachelor's and master's are calculated separately with 11 and 17 marks respectively.

If you have a 4-year bachelor's degree, PPSC considers it equivalent to a master's degree for marks calculation purposes. Follow these steps:
Example: If you scored 80% in Matric, 75% in Intermediate, and 70% in your Bachelor's degree:
Matric: (80/100) × 5 = 4.0 marks
Intermediate: (75/100) × 7 = 5.25 marks
Bachelor's: (70/100) × 28 = 19.6 marks
Total: 4.0 + 5.25 + 19.6 = 28.85 marks
If you have a 2-year bachelor's degree followed by a 2-year master's degree, PPSC calculates marks for both degrees separately:
Example: If you scored 85% in Matric, 80% in Intermediate, 75% in Bachelor's, and 70% in Master's:
Matric: (85/100) × 5 = 4.25 marks
Intermediate: (80/100) × 7 = 5.6 marks
Bachelor's: (75/100) × 11 = 8.25 marks
Master's: (70/100) × 17 = 11.9 marks
Total: 4.25 + 5.6 + 8.25 + 11.9 = 30.0 marks
Academic marks play a crucial role in PPSC examinations for several reasons:
PPSC uses academic marks as part of the initial screening process to shortlist candidates for competitive positions.
Academic marks contribute to your overall merit score, which determines your ranking in the final selection list.
Some positions have minimum academic marks requirements that candidates must meet to be eligible.
In cases where candidates have identical exam scores, academic marks often serve as a tie-breaker.
Our calculator is designed based on the official PPSC academic marks calculation formula. We've carefully implemented both calculation methods (for 4-year degrees and 2+2 programs) to ensure accurate results. Thousands of PPSC candidates have used our calculator to determine their academic marks and plan their examination strategy.
